Offers that bring customers back on their own

Your online ordering can now send three offers to customers automatically. Bounce Back texts a new customer 20% off two days after their first order. Milestone shows customers how close they are on every receipt and emails a thank-you discount after every fifth order. Win Back emails a customer who has gone 30 days without ordering, then again at 60 and 90 days.

What to do Tell us the discount and the timing you want, and the offers handle the rest.

Delivery from your own website, with Uber Direct couriers

Your online ordering can now offer delivery without a third-party app. The customer sees a live delivery quote at checkout. An Uber courier is sent when the order is ready, and both the customer and your staff get a tracking link. You pay no commission on the food.

What to do Ask us to add delivery and we switch it on for your ordering page.

  3. Online ordering

A new online ordering experience for every restaurant

We rebuilt the ordering menu and checkout, tested the new design against the old one, and made it the default for every restaurant. Categories open in an accordion, the cart and checkout are built for phones, and the cart suggests add-on items.

What to do Nothing to do. Every ordering page already runs on it.

  4. Reservations

    Deposits that hold a reservation

You can now ask for a per-person deposit to hold a reservation. The guest pays it when they book, so a large party that never shows up no longer costs you the table.

What to do Ask us to turn deposits on and set the amount per guest.

  5. Your website

Ordering and reservations on your own domain

Your online ordering and reservation pages can now live on your own domain instead of an 88 Restaurants address. Google Analytics and search settings are set per restaurant, so the traffic shows up under your name.

What to do Send us the domain you want to use and we set it up.

  6. Online ordering

    Refunds from the orders screen

When an order goes wrong, staff can refund it in full or in part, or add a charge to it, from the orders screen, protected by a transaction password. The money goes back to the card on its own and the customer gets a refund email.

What to do Set a transaction password for your staff and refunds are ready to use.

Orders print in the kitchen on their own

New online orders print straight to a receipt printer in the kitchen the moment they come in, with the customer name, order type, items, modifiers and notes laid out for the line. Setup takes about 15 minutes.

What to do Ask us to connect a printer and we walk you through the one-time setup.

  8. Reservations

A waitlist your guests can follow from their phone

When you add a guest to the waitlist, they get a text with a link to a page that shows their place in line. The list updates on its own as tables turn, and a guest who can no longer wait can take themselves off it.

What to do Included with table management and the Pro plan. Add a phone number to a waitlist entry and the text goes out.

  9. Reservations

    Party and private event inquiries

Guests can ask about a private party from a form on your website. Each inquiry has a status, can carry an invoice for the room deposit, and turns into a reservation with one click once the date is set.

What to do Ask us for the form and we add it to your website.

More ways to order: catering, order ahead and gift cards

Catering is now its own order type with its own request form and rules. Customers can schedule a pickup or delivery for a later date and time instead of ordering for right now. They can also buy a gift card online and spend it at checkout.

What to do Catering and scheduling are part of online ordering. Ask us to turn on gift cards.

Email and text marketing that runs on a schedule

We write, schedule and send your email and text campaigns for you, from the same system that runs your orders and reservations. We plan the calendar with you for your campaigns, and automated sequences follow up on their own.

What to do Ask us about email marketing and we plan the first month of campaigns with you.
